Durtro’s review published on Letterboxd:
there is a reason why some of the greatest dystopian works came out of the age of "trickle down economics", it didn't work. this was the age of unregulated rich, and on the other hand, the have-nots starting to get even less. people in the mid 80s got rich by manipulating markets and loans. loans should not be bought and sold, and the only way one should be able to make money in stocks is to buy a stock because you think a company will do well and you want to own a piece of that business, not short selling, hedge funds, etc. we should get rich by the sweat of our brows, not by how we manipulate money. anyone working in banking/insurance/brokerages is a parasite and adds nothing to society.
