The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
Perfection in 100 minutes. Feel like I watched this very early in my ~cinema journey~ and while I adored it before there is just so much more I'm able to appreciate now. Feels like I was able to fill in the picture just a little bit more and I can't wait until my next viewing to explore even more!!!!!!!!!!!

Ough really good. Like her impact will span/already has spanned generations. Honestly perfectly written… can’t imagine it progressing any better than it did. Like the ending especially… good good stuff. Le slayest effects in the world TRULY. The 80s were a beautiful time for practical effects… most disturbing thing tbh was how much Kurt Russell looks like armie hammer. Uncanny similarities…. But anyways. Freaking amazing to see in theater, thought I missed my chance but I didn’t!!!! Very fun that everyone else there was so into it and excited too. Yaayayaya

Sooo freaking cute. Wes going from the mediocrity of Bottle Rocket immediately to this is very very much a slay. Like ohhh him and Owen took notes on those criticisms they really took that to heart... But anyways so so adorable. Jason Schwartzman is suchhh a charming little freak in this I can't even believe. Yes he's a creep yes I adore him what about it!!!! Great great camerawork obviii even without all the crazy style we get now. Love it as fuckkkk forever bye!

This is what blockbuster action movies should be. No one is expecting them to be profound artsy freaky shit. Just use that budget to deliver something nice looking and high quality and engaging!! A great looking picture and an entirely bearable storyline. Pretty yass for military propaganda I would say!
