Made it to the theater today for this one. An amazing 80's fever dream in big, bright, beautiful colors- it's like somebody read my mind and made a movie.
I know people want to hate on these films but I still can't believe we live in a world where even obscure D-list comic book heroes get awesome summer blockbusters. That and this is the closest we will ever get to a "Tango & Cash" reunion.
If it has any faults, I'd say the third act is a bit long in the tooth. And they rely on Drax for comic relief a little too much.
I had to sit through TEN (!) trailers before the feature but I only paid the $5.70 Tuesday special price- so that mitigated my grumpy old man tendencies and made it easy to just relax and enjoy the movie.
