By no means is it a revolutionary tract or anything even close, but, I mean... it’s better than could reasonably have been expected! Opening titles and a few Chairman Fred moments point to a significantly punchier movie (and show that they probably could’ve let the cast carry the whole damn thing, except for Martin Sheen as 14 Words J Ed Hoover who should be cut from the picture entirely) but I’m certainly not gonna fault this for playing its hand pretty straight.
