You would think this is a movie about falling in love, but it's more about the act of loving and, in its wake, aching.

I still don't know whether the poet's or the lover's choice is nobler, if I would rather spend my life raging against the world and the Fates or find myself, inevitably, gazing at my beloved, disappointed.

Is it possible, in a handful of days, to love someone enough to fill forever? And is it possible to bargain with destiny that you have the power to stretch that love into a lifetime together?
