Andrew Black’s review published on Letterboxd:
A gloriously over-stylized and superbly sentimental heist film. As always, Wes Anderson imprints his own dialect of filmmaking onto every frame to create something that's unique and quirky.
And oh, boy, did the shades of the Western genre sprinkled here leave me wanting to see Wes Anderson tackle a full-blown one.
Also, gotta love Willem Dafoe's voiceover. It's two scenes, but I'll be damned if they aren't the best scenes in the whole movie.
A fantastic time, if you will.
