I love Viola Davis movies and she did not disappoint in this one. Actually all the actors were great! Everyone did a damn good job acting. I couldn't ask for better actors and actresses. The sisterhood was everything. My only issue was with the editing at some points. It felt as if the director and the editor didn't quite knock their collaboration out the park. But big ups to everyone involved. The main reason it's not getting high scores is, I think, because the DNA of the story in and of itself is lacking stakes. But no one can fix that. Not even the writers. Concepts are like babies. Sometimes there is a congenital defect in its very conception and no one can do anything about it really.
