This has an interesting premise and there are some things I like about the design, you can definitely see some of the ways it influences the Fallout games. It also has an excellent soundtrack. However, the quality was poor and most of the acting was really bad. The plot could have used a lot of work as well. I love post-apocalyptic stuff and was excited to watch this when I heard this inspired Fallout, but it was a bit disappointing. It was still entertaning, I would have justed like a little more substance.
This is a very tense film, and you spend a lot of it unsure exactly what is going on, but it is very engaging. Not knowing the crime committed by Clyde until near the end is an interesting plot device, because it makes you unsure if you should root for or against Jackie, which adds to the tension. It also makes it harder to understand why she is doing what she is doing. I liked the ending of this film,…
The first half of the film was very slow and somewhat boring, and had more scenes of people walking than Lord of the Rings. However, the second half was much more interesting. I liked the concept of two people reacting very differently to the same bad experience. I also liked the commentary on the effects of war.
