  What's the fucking point?
  I guess that for the filmmakers, winning all those awards is the reason.

  I just don't understand why does a modern audience needs this film? We know wars are atrocious. I don't even think I've lived a single year of my life without one. In this day and age, what does watching a war movie with ultra realistic violence accomplishes?
