It's been a little while since I watched the first and second Nightmare on Elm Street movies, but it was easy to jump back into the story with brand new characters. I don't really understand the love for Freddy himself, but his being a dream-based slasher does make for some really fun movies. The TV kill and human/Freddy puppets were particularly cool in terms of original visuals.
