A low-rent Rashomon, but with impeccable production. Visually, it's amazing and the performances are good, but the storytelling kind of lost me

Pretty powerful. This film has a brief Wikipedia editing sequence near the beginning. Once you settle into the pacing, it's nice to see a film like this, inhabiting the posh world of classical orchestras and high society...

I identify with all of Dustin Hoffman's obscure septugenarian artist class signaler namedrops: Stroszek, Buddenbrooks, trashing shitty video art installations at MoMA...

Good performances, good family dynamics, funny... only slightly cheesy. Another solid Baumbach effort.
