    ORIGINAL MASTER OF INDEPENDENCE

Roger Corman produced over 500 movies. He directed over 50. He's in the game of making entertainment (and a profit) for over 60 years and rarely lost a dime.

This feature length documentary is a great look into the story of the original indepdendent filmmaker Roger Corman who made the careers of half the talents in Hollywood happen.

Interesting, inspiring, fun and at times emotional.

    REVOLUTION IN THE WICKER CHAIR

This hour long documentary of TV network Arte shines a soft light on the stunning success of the erotic film and character of EMMANUELLE in 1974. It started a revolution and probably still is the gold standard of erotic on celluloid. It made Sylvia Kristel a star of the genre and spawned a whole subgenre and exploiters for the grindhouse cinema.

Sylvia Kristel's curse was that people started hiring Emmanuelle instead of Sylvia. Well, this documentary seduces its audience with Emmanuelle while serving as a tender love letter to Sylvia.

    Bravo.

    UNCLE BUCK: PTSD

This will be one of my shortest reviews ever. Go and watch this movie. It's an inspired mixture from all the things you loved in the inventive genre films of the late 80's and early 90's.

The less one knows about THE GUEST the better. Trust me. I didn't even watched the trailer. Just had complete trust in director Adam Wingard and writer Simon Barrett and it was such a rewarding experience.

If you need proof it's a great movie; my wife loved it and she's not even into genre flicks and 80's films.

    FOR A FEW SNAKES MORE

You could call it a guilty pleasure but to me it's in parts even superior to the classic first movie ESCAPE FROM N.Y. Hear me out.

The score is an advanced variation of the original classic theme, the older Kurt fits Snake even better, tons of good cameos (okay and some really bad ones), a great sense of L.A. geography and one of the best movie endings of all times.

    Sure, the rest isn't that…
