Zodiac ★★★★½

Fincher is a master in suspense and terrifying people to their core. In Zodiac, he creates a recreation of real-life events surrounding the mystery of the Zodiac Killer in San Francisco during the 1960's and 1970's. This one adds a extra layer of creepiness because this is something that actually happened and never got resolved. Which indicates whoever the Zodiac killer was, lived a full life without no one noticing. Jake Gyllenhaal, Robert Downey, and Mark Ruffalo all play characters who become obsessed with finding this serial killer. It turns their lives upside down. Although the length didn't really bother me, there are sections in the middle that are a little forgettable. The start and the ending are the strongest parts of the film. This was basically Mindhunter (great show) about 12 years ago.
