i hit a bit of a rough patch with movies this month, just trying to keep up with life speeding up again had me exhausted in many ways. i've been wanting to catch up, but even my hobbies felt like chores.

i feel like this was the perfect way for me to get back into it. the songs got me dancing in my seat, and that combined with the hopeful message absolutely did it for me.
i can't speak for others, but this musical came at just the right time to remind me why i love watching movies and i'm so happy i watched it.

disney, for a sec in there: i am not saying that cruella is a dog murderer, persay. i just think her actions raise some questions. like for example, is she a dog murderer?

Anya Taylor-Joy looking beautiful, being chaotic, and crushing men all around the world is right up my alley

but seriously, this is such a bingeable miniseries. hits the right notes for suspense, and even emotionally by the end as you get to know the main character – through a wonderful performance from Anya. the set and costume designs are beautiful, and I will probably listen to the score later again. Netflix’s miniseries game is definitely strong this October!
