Was absolutely not warned enough of how powerful a watch this was going to be. Unrelenting in the horrors they show while still keeping me absolutely gripped with the faintest chance of survival. A wonderfully made movie about one of the most insane true stories I’ve ever seen put to film.

I feel like this has all the right pieces to work much better than it does but it just didn’t fully click. There’s some funny moments for sure but just as many moments that fall completely flat and took me out of the movie. That runtime is peak though, give me more short movies.

Not only is the fight choreography top notch, but the camerawork, lighting, and so much more are gorgeous. Stahelski is at the top of his game with directing and that’s super cool.

As for the story of this movie.. it’s a lot. John and pretty much every…
