Jenna Ortega is good...but overall ends up being pretty corny, overly scripted fake feeling dialogue and characters and some weird and annoying camera shots.

West Side Story 2021
Not a fan. The remake is definitely more gritty and realistic, but fails to make you care about the characters like the original did. Elgort is dull and unlikable and seems to be bored/distracted throughout. The intimate/close relationship between riff and tony is just stated but never actually shown which takes away from the story. The relationship with Maria is even more hurried and difficult to believe than in the original.
