Rewatched
I'm still surprised toni collette didn't get an oscar nomination for this. I really hope Ari Aster does more horror after midsommar. The cinematography, Score, performances, sound design, Pacing, set design were all fantastic. I love how unpredictable it is and how the story unfolds until the end. I wouldn't call it perfect but it's really well done.
My one big dislike would be the ending. It feels too spoon fed for me. I really wish it cut out most of the dialogue at the end because it feels like it's trying to hold the audiences hand so they can understand what happened. I also dislike some of the CGI but it wasn't enough to ruin anything for me. But overall it's one of the best modern horror films.
