I was kind of conflicted about this after first viewing, I didn't really enjoy how Eddie's backstory was basically the Gender non-comforming trope you typically see in movies. But after reading into this and seeing how it's also supposed to be a modern parody of 'Oedipus Rex' I actually enjoyed it much more. I feel like I wouldn't have loved this movie more on 2nd viewing (other than reading about Oedipus Rex) if it wasn't for the small interviews thatβ¦
