Average at best. Try-hard, pretentious and boring at worst. The use of Beethoven's Symphony no. 7 (which I absolutely love in general) is such a cop-out and over-used here. The main character's homelife is so unbelievably cliché, the dialogue was so cringe, it felt like it was written by a 13 year old trying hard to be edgy and deep. The opening and end voiceover dialogues were the worst. She stumbled upon Mozart for the first time on youtube at the ripe age of 19?? lmao big yikes, who the hell thought that was good opening to a movie?? Dear lord.

With utter boredness comes the willingness to watch movies you had no intention to watch in the first place. I still think it's such an egotistical move for Branagh to cast himself as Hercule Poirot, a Belge, when he himself is British. Though it's not a surprise as he cast himself as Hamlet when he directed that too, so I guess that's his usual move. His french accent is awful. When he was speaking french in the beginning it was…

Pretty cute movie. I'm glad it was recognized that the guy needed to grow up. He's 19 years old, is attached to a stuffed animal, and calls his mom constantly. Yikes dude. Last time I missed by mom was when I was 10 maybe? lmao I can not relate whatsoever. Plus I did not like how he blew up her IG and she wasn't responding to his DMs like maybe take a hint dude. Really creepy behavior. But I guess…

This documentary is crazy. It was incredibly interesting and loved all the hidden camera footage they got. What I end up asking is if it was worth it in the end? Was the information they got actually useful? All I could think about is how bad I felt for the wife who was in the dark for 10 years, I would be pissed. This doofus made a decision for his family without his wife's input, which could have put their…

Kinda predictable but it worked its material in a entertaining way. I was expecting something a little more kinkier where she somehow finds out he's a cannibal and she genuinely gets into it as well. Why can we never have a couple who kill together in movies?? Or at least not as often. I'm a tad disappointed.

It was shot and framed beautifully but it was too bland for me. There were too many monologues and they went on for far too long. They were too unnatural and prententious (hate this word). The whole concept of the wife only able to make up stories during sex but forgetting right after so it was the husbands duty to write it down made my eyes roll. It's hard to say because I don't speak Japanese but sometimes it felt…

I was giddy with glee watching this because I was so excited to finally get to watch it and thankfully it didn't disappoint. It may be disjointed with everything that goes on but I feel like it's because it's more of a slice-of-life coming-of-age type movie. To just enjoy the laid back feeling of growing up in the 70s was so enjoyable to watch. I love these type of movies. One of my favorite scenes was the telephone scene between…

Pretty cute romcom. It's a little more unique (and more "adult") than the usual run-of-the-mill stuff. Dialogue was sometimes a bit too try-hard though but I let it slide most of the time. The scene where Jason Sudeikis explains female masturbation was so incorrect in so many ways, like wtf would we want our cervix touched in any way?? I have to appauld Adam Scott though because he played really well his character. The look on his face in the end when he hears "Elaine" made me cackle with glee.

I jumped on this when I read the synopsis. I was wishing for a gritty movie about a doctor who works nights, what a disappointment this was. Such a stupid storyline and dialogue. It was just not believable this guy loved his wife while he was running around with the other women saying he wanted to run away with her, what are they 12 years old? Affairs are not uncommon in stories but they just didn't give enough backstory, plus…

They really screwed the pooch on the casting here. Not that it's impressive but I knew instantly that Amber was one of the killers because of her already playing a killer (with a knife!) in the last Tarantino movie. She can easily pull of this crazed killer look so I knew it had to be her. Plus she dies the same way with fire wtf. Once Jack Quaid showed up in the first scene, I jokingly said he was the…

Love finding these type of unique movies. It's got really interesting and top-notch production design, it gave believablity to being on a different planet in another time period and adds to the unique atmosphere. You can tell everything was well thought out and nothing was super in your face and overexplained, everything was just naturally shown to the audience. It is truly impressive what they achieved for a low-budget sci-fi. And of course Pedro Pascal (dude has so much charisma…

I had a hard time finishing this movie as I would stop it, then a few months later try again. I was just so uninterested by these middle-aged bored men who just wanted to become alcoholics. What the hell did they think was gonna happen by constantly drinking?? It was an idiotic idea. Like teenagers who just discovered the "magic" of alcohol without thinking about the consequences. I finally powered through the first act and once they started to become…
