i snatched these tickets at 7am this morning after almost 4 hours of rushing the gala yesterday and not getting in i am so happy i did. yorgos lanthimos and barry keoghan came for a quick q&a after and i wanted to scream "YORGOS I LOVE YOU THAT WAS FUCKING INCREDIBLE" because it was, it REALLY was. king yorgos did it again with a genius script so full of comedy and tension that had me laughing so hard my ribs hurt (wink) but also psychologically shook. petformances! loved them all especially collin farrell....'s accent. my absolute FAVOURITE of it had definitely got to be the score though. it was a haunting backdrop to the film's composition and characters both individually, and their relationships with each other. the way the music crept up on you, you wouldnt notice until all of a sudden it was all you could hear, the dialogue being drowned out by erratic and jarring orchestrations... it was a work of art.
