Sweetgrass ★★★★

Immersive verite that gives the sheep and the humans equal weight/character. The "story"/raison d'etre for the film doesn't reveal itself until the end title card, but even without that I'd have been fine with this. Arguably it doesn't offer much more than hanging out in Montana and immersing one's self in a different way of looking at the world, whilst fully detaching from any hope of narrative expectation. For some people (like the friend I watched this with) that's boring. For me that's plenty.
