honestly preferred this to the finale in a lot of ways; instead of the neatness of walter white’s last day on earth we get the messiness of a life continued. a little torn on a few of the choices (giving jesse a big western shootout after his pointed choice to put down his gun at the end of the show rings a little false to me), and yknow, it’s not really a movie. but overall a lovely little coda that i think the character deserved after being so heavily sidelined near the end of the show! absolutely love robert forster as this gruff criminal guardian of the river styx. hilarious that jesse plemons looks fifty years older now and they just had to go with it
