    Grandview, U.S.A.

    Tank Girl

I consciously avoided this movie for over 25 years, but maybe I had the urge to say that Naomi Watts has also made something really bad. The result exceeded my expectations: ridiculously silly, badly acted (Malcolm McDowell really is a bad actor if you don't count A Clockwork Orange), too noisy, it made me asleep, dated (I guess it always has been dated) and a very good soundtrack.

    Oxygen

OXYGEN: Along with The Irishman, Mank and Marriage Story, the strongest movie I've ever seen on Netflix. I think the comparisons with Buried are a bit gratuitous, it is as if you were going to compare all heist movies with Ocean's Eleven. Visually stunning, a tour de force by Mélanie Laurent and a magical score by Rob. The only downside is perhaps that this film isn't quite rewatchable. Easily an 8.5 out of 10.

    Ferry

You can be grumpy and say that this is not a film but just an extra long episode of the Undercover-series but without Tom Waes, but Ferry is also one of the best Dutch crime films I saw in recent years. Exciting, fun and a very solid Frank Lammers.
