Dumbo twist alert - The wife who was the most vocal and suspicious calls the very people she was desperate to get away from, and had a few hours earlier tormented their child to tears in front of her. Plus the husband doesn’t tell his wife what he discovered, if he did she’s definitely not calling them for help. She seemed so fine with them at that point as if the lead up to that point didn’t happen. 

It’s a shame because what came before was good uncomfortable and awkward.
