"I cannot die. I am forever."
A phrase that every franchise needs.
I see this film as a waste of potential :(. Because I love director's debut film Majority (2010) a lot, I had had very high expectations. I think he should have given something for us to like his characters a bit. It's easy to despise these people, I would like to find something in them that I could actually understand them.
It was really bad. One of the reasons why I watched this movie is I had expected a feminist, at least a non-sexist film, however , it was from a male gaze (although it is from a woman director- does it really matter I don't know) and it was indeed from a heterosexist gaze as well.
Think for a second. Do you think the film would get the same reviews If these underage girls would be boys? A free test…
