Diogo Brüggemann’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is way more feminist than any new Disney Fairy Tale movie like The Beauty and the Beast.
If we take off Camila Cabello uninspired acting, terribly weird camera angles, really poor editing, and a silly text that tries too hard, there is a lot to like about Cinderella. The film is full of good ideas on how to renovate the tired fairy tale genre. I liked the honest take on some situations, the used of great pop songs, and the queerness of it all. I also enjoyed seeing more time dedicated to secondary characters.
