The Wonder 2022
Set in an Irish village, a young girl is living miraculously despite the fact that she does not eat or drink. Well, tourist, visitors, pilgrims, all come to see a miracle. Great business for all. The elders hires a nurse and a nun to monitor her around the clock taking turns. They must not discuss the case with each other. The nurse, who is chasing her own demons, tries to reveal the truth.
I will recommend this film.

Bottoms 2023
Bottoms, starring Rachel Sennott (PJ) and Ayo Edebiri (Josie), is directed by Emma Seligman. It is one of the best comedy I have seen all year. In the interest of self disclosure, Ayo is my daughter.
PJ and Josie are two lesbians who decides to start a fight club, so that they can attract pretty cheerleaders. With the football game against a long term rival in the background, the comedy just keeps coming until the end. Get your popcorn ready, you will love it.

Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio 2022
Stop what you are doing! You must see Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio. There is no other way to say it, except to add this is not your father's Pinocchio.
Yes it is animation, but taken to a higher level. This one has Nazis, war, love and death several times. It is one of the best films I have seen all year!

Avatar: The Way of Water 2022
Very long, good movie, prefer the first one. That was great!. Maybe my expectation was too high. I got confused at times with the story line, and the way it ended. There is no doubt there must be a part three and maybe four because of the money it has grossed world wide. Some of the characters I thought died in the first one came back to life in this one. I ate a bag of popcorn all by myself.
