i dont really know why i loved this as much as i did. its tense and uncomfortable. its so deeply personal and nuanced in a way that makes it obvious this was never a real biopic. its unflinchingly existing in this ambiguity - one would have expected them to reveal what actually happened, or give an ending thats neither forgiving nor condemning, but its not that simple. intentionally unsatisfying in a way that ironically makes it incredibly satisfying. its stunning
