"Why are you so big this time?"

Definitely and interesting insight into Dylan's life, career, and philosophy during his early era. I know part of the appeal is that it's a slice of life and moments from the tour, but I must admit I thought it could have been a little more focused (like I don't think we needed as many scenes with Dylan's manager.) But I can definitely see what people love about this.

    "Anything can be a musical."

A fine documentary about a very unknown part of midcentury American culture. Further evidence that capitalism is such a joke, especially when they talk about how much more it cost to put on these "industrials" than a big hit Broadway show!

Some of the film's conclusions feel artificial and don't feel earned, but the story and the footage collected from these Industrial musicals is really great, and makes this doc a worthwhile watch.

    "Damn Skippy, I do!"

Kind of a mess of a movie. Thank God for Jane Levy; her charm goes a long way. The film's tonally all over the place, and the sci-fi elements come in way too late, but if you're a fan of midcentury sensibilities and style (as I certainly am) chances are you'll find something you'll appreciate here.

    "For Doug, these are canvases."

A really interesting story about two people's lives and their dedication to an idea. The documentary definitely breezes over some of the more unflattering parts of their lives and careers, but I think the doc's "heart" is in the right place and this story has the potential to inspire others, which is important

I seriously think that if like 1% of the world population was a dedicated and focused on saving the world's natural resources as Douglas and Kris Tompkins, the Earth's future wouldn't look as bleak as it currently does.

I don't think I fully "got it," but I really, really dug it.

How come other countries can do animated features for adults, and when America tries it we just get Sausage Party?

    "I ate a baby there!"

Some things don't change much over time and that's exactly the way people like it. As far as tone and intent Invader Zim hasn't changed at all and fans are going to love that. The major change here is the art direction and design, and that's all greatly improved!

I'm not even a huge fan of this series and I was pretty into this: Some of the jokes are really great, there's some animation surprises throughout, and I never thought I'd say this but, I think I'd even watch another Invader Zim series if it continued from here!
