Deckk’s review published on Letterboxd:
100-word review: Susan disguises as a child to travel half fare. Caught out by conductors, she hides in the naive Major Philip's compartment. Little Sue Sue doesn't want to hide her grown-up feeling for the handsome Major though. This contentious story is material Wilder knows to milk, but it's noticeable that it's his first real shot at directing. Too much time is spent on Susan fending off thirsty young cadets, and too little on the developing feelings between her and Major Philip. The ending is sorta cute, sorta creepy, and definitely a little pedo. Still enjoyed the premise a lot though.
Mr. Osborne: "Why don't you get out of that wet coat and into a dry martini?"
