The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad

The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad ★★

100-word review: Feels like cheating to watch this as part of Hooptober (but I assure you it's genre-tagged as 'horror'), as The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad is a two-film anthology, only the second film of which — The Legend of Sleepy Hollow — features a five-minutes-at-most 'horror' segment. Katrina is an offensively bad female character, even by 1940s Disney characters (is she the reason it's called Sleepy Hollow?) and neither story goes anywhere, or presents much of a morale. Moreover, the two stories don't go together at all (spoiler: lol, Ichabod actually dies! In a kids movie!).
