Dean Walker’s review published on Letterboxd:
What an incredibly well-made movie.
Kristen Stewart gives a once in a career performance, it is incredibly powerful and moving and subtle and thought out, it works perfectly, and this is just brilliantly accompanied by this movie’s brilliant direction.
Every shot is beautiful, every outfit and set is incredible and the colour grading here is great too. A really strong contrast is built between when this movie is set and when it looks like it’s set.
Another highlight for me is a phenomenal score. It switches from beautiful to unnerving in a second, always in time and on beat with what’s happening on screen.
