Fantastic visuals, by-the-numbers story. Even the action feels uninspired most of the time (and drawn out for no reason).

It's a bit of a bummer because there is some substance beneath all this, but it's bogged down by too much bloat that doesn't serve the story well.

Taken as a lighthearted fairy tale though, I can see how someone could enjoy this.

But the characters didn't do anything for me so yeah, I wasn't invested at all.
