Quite enjoyed this. Dug the eerie vibe and moments of absurd humor.
Wonderful film. If only for a moment, all the bullshit of life melted away and I was on this heartbreaking quest with Cage on the hunt for his precious truffle pig. Quiet and meditative, with a masterful understated performance from one of the best to ever do it.
Dug the style and setting too. Excited to see more from Michael Sarnoski.
Also, having watched a handful of episodes of the Naked Brothers Band in my youth, I never would've expected Alex Wolff to grow into such a fantastic performer. Hope he has a long career ahead.
Can't believe we live in a world where this won the Palme d'Or, but I am here for it! Love how the trailer shows flashes of some of the awesome imagery but doesn't give anything away. Felt the collective discomfort in the theater during multiple moments, but nothing so far this year has made me laugh as hard as this. What a wild flick.
