My favorite part of this movie was at the beginning there's a scene when Mark Wahlberg's character is interviewing for a job. Turns out his character brutally assaulted someone and that makes him unemployable.
In real life, Mark Wahlberg assaulted several people and used racial slurs against them but he still gets to star in movies like this.
There's a moment about 10 minutes into this film when Ruben (Riz Ahmed) is at a hearing specialist's office. The specialist is explaining to him that the majority of his hearing is gone, and all his efforts at the moment should be dedicated to preserving what's left.
