Dave Vis’s review published on Letterboxd:
This is one of those rare occasions where 90% of my LB friends absolutely love or adore a film, when it leaves me cold and a bit amazed by the almost universal love for it.
I see a few merits, most notably the performances by especially Ronan and Metcalf. Other than that I was mostly bored and couldn’t connect to the characters even one bit. Most of them felt like cardboard cutout stereotypes and hardly any more interesting than we have seen before in way less acclaimed films.
It’s probably just me... Me not getting it. Or me being in the wrong mood. Or me having too high expectations. But I can just barely get myself to grant this 3 stars.
