(Minor spoiler warning but I just want to talk about a trigger warning for those who are planning to watch this. There a rape scene in this that’s extremely brutal and triggered me really badly to the point I had to walk out of the theater for a min to breathe. Wasn’t expecting that and I wish I could have prepared myself for that scene. So just a warning to the people that are planning to watch this.) 

Otherwise this movie is another one of those that caught me off guard. Wasn’t expecting to like this but I managed to enjoy watching this even if it’s slightly overlong. My issue is the start of this starts off too slowly but once things do pick up I was engaged for what was going on and where it was going to go to. I never found myself bored so that’s a plus. 

The main course is the Taylor swift song at the credits. Which I gotta say that song is a banger and well worth sitting through the credits for. 

This was a rather harmless film besides the one trigger scene. I think it’s worth checking out if you love romance stories.
