My ratings are mostly based on enjoyment or how impressed/connected/immersed I was. (Also nostalgia)
Even though this movie has alot of communism vs capitalism and climate change bullshit included, it was still very funny and a good satire.
The opening scene will probably be legendary in some months and years, and part 2 of this movie is just COMPLETELY INSANE lmao I loved it.
I watched this in the cinema when I was in Berlin for 1 day waiting for my bus and it was a really good decision that I picked this movie.
The characters are just sooo good I loved them. One of them even resembles a really good actor from Germany, Louis Hofmann.
I was in the cinema with my friends for this movie and I have mixed feelings about it.
First and foremost, the main character introduced in this movie is perhaps the most well written character in any filler one piece movie.
The soundtrack is amazing and turns the movie pretty much into a musical with amazing animation during the songs.
The action fight scenes were kind of lackluster in the sense that the characters only attacked for the sake of…
Holy shit, if this is considered 'slow' and just the 'introduction' to the world of Dune... THEN HOW AMAZING IS THE REST GOING TO BE???
Atmosphere: Amazing
Soundtrack: Amazing
Characters: Some look stupid but cool
Cinematography: Beautiful
I'm so excited for part 2. I hope it will release within 2 years from now.
This was cool. But I liked the first half definetly more than the second half. The pace and dynamic somewhat shifts in the second half causing the movie to kinda drag on and not be as much fun as the first half.
But wow the action scenes are really fun. The cgi also looks amazing especially near the end.
Tony Leung is my loved Wong Kar Wai actor of course.
The first half didn't really feel like a marvel movie…
