kino is back baby !
for months, i’ve craved the communal experience that is film. it is my coping mechanism, like exercise, cooking, etc. is for many. during a regular summer, there’s no feeling better than riding my bike to the theater and spending a whole day on a film bender.
today, i got that back and it made me so happy. saw this in a full house (which was really 50 people in a 400 seat venue) but that communal laughter, surprise and excitement came back, even in my fourth viewing of the film.
judge me all you want for going to the movies, but i can’t live in a world without it - i’d be nothing. it’s all that holds meaning for me in this simulation.
i’ve missed life being this good 😭
