    the way how lars von trier used OCD to build the tension and entire narration in the first act, was something that really gave the film different, more interesting look. at first, i thought that this will be used to show the character motives, but it wasnt. instead the director preferred to use some shallow childhood memories that certainly were just trivial and pointless. didnt like that.
