Still remains my favorite of the series
This is one of those movies you wish you could watch for the first time again, but also love to revisit, knowing what you now know! My father was so lucky to not remember it, so today when we watch it together he experience my dream, it will never be my reality, i will never forget this!
So why is this my favorite? During the next couple of days i will revisit every Harry Potter Movie, after not seing them for many years! Even though i feel so much love for the first two, who is very enjoyable and nostalgic to watch, this is just takes it up a level! It clearly takes a shift from the much more family friendly Chris Columbus (who i still love), into a more dark world with a very good story! A story that don't even feature Voldemort!
It is so brilliantly Directed by Alfonso Cuarón, such a great choice as director by warner brothers! The director of a little Princess (one of the most magical non-fantasy movies) is going to direct a teenage harry Potter, right after making Y tu mamá también, Brilliant! Everything feels so perfectly focused, the plot, the story, little hidden hints and there are still time for humor and beauty! He goes in, makes HIS movie and leaves the franchise, that's the way to do it!
Btw, have never notice the following cute dialog!
Hermione : It's meant to be the most haunted building in Britain. Did I mention that?
Ron : Twice.
Hermione : Oh. Do you want to move a bit closer?
Ron : Huh?
Hermione : To the Shrieking Shack.
Ron : Oh, no. I'm fine here.
That is so funny and sweet!
Looking forward to revisit the rest of the Potter Universe, eventhough i don't think my favorite will change, you never now for sure.
