Danny Clukey’s review published on Letterboxd:
Tsai Ming-Liang is a director you either "get" or don't get. Whatever your take on him, you can't deny his enormous artistic talent!
What Time Is It There is a darkly humorous minimalist examination of loneliness and urban despair that builds to a climactic scene that is so thought-provoking and transparently moving, it makes you want to go back and watch the entire movie again! It is hypnotic, absorbing and touching in all the usual Tsai Ming-Liang ways! He is a master of mise en scene.
