I really hope to see more Punjabi films like this! I didn't really have any expectations going in but this female-centric family story about women across multiple generations won me over. The story was cute and I teared up a few times but I wish there was a bit more going on. There were still some problematic aspects in this but I enjoyed seeing a Punjabi film being led by a strong female character.

The score is creepy as hell, and the main theme is excellent. Obviously, the neon lighting had my eyes glued to the screen but the acting and dubbing in this wasn’t all that great. I had a lot of fun though!

A deeply unsettling film about the concept of identity. I’m in awe of how amazing it is and how great the performances were.
