I’ve long yearned for movies of this nature, evoking the blissful vibes of the early 2000s. Blend elements reminiscent of "Chucky" and "Terminator," with a touch reminiscent of "Detroit: Become Human," and the result is this unique concoction. With a mix of camp, comedy, sci-fi/AI and horror-esque notes—undoubtedly caters to a wide audience.
Within it’s blend of influences, the fantastical meets the plausible. “M3GAN” explores the implications of artificial intelligence and human connection. You could say it's a reflection of our evolving relationship with technology, cleverly disguised in the trappings of a thrilling and entertaining story. But really, in the end, this is easy entertainment that has an added bonus of quirky fun.
