Wilson’s review published on Letterboxd:
Bullitt is a brilliant film. It may have been an action thriller on release, but by today's standards it is practically an esoteric arthouse film. The film has a meandering plot, puncutated by wordless car chases and foot races. It is a baroque action film; that still contains the finest car sequence in movie history, the chase has weight, consequence and heft to it. Steve McQueen is iconic in the lead role, ably supported by Jacqueline Bisset, Robert Vaughn and Robert Duvall.
