The elite group of directors without a single miss in their filmographies. Each director is represented here by their best film. Some ground rules:

1. Not every “hit” is a home-run. If the worst movie a director made is still just barely a pass, they qualify.

2. I obviously have to have seen every movie from a director before considering them for this list.

3. I’m setting a minimum of 5 films in a director’s catalogue, because it’s easy to say “Barry Jenkins has no misses” when he’s only made 3 movies.
