    All Is Lost

to be trapped in the middle of the ocean, alone, might be one of the worst things that can happen to anyone.

all is lost starts off strongly and is able to keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last second. it's impossible watching it without asking yourself what you would do in this situation because although it's always something that's on your mind and that you worry about... it's never something you think can actually…

    Stand by Me

i wish this would’ve been one of the coming of age films my parents showed me when i was even younger. although, i probably wouldn’t have understood everything until later on. i think that’s what makes those so great. at first, you think it’s a nice story and then the more you grow up, the more you understand what it’s really about. it doesn’t have to be really deep, it just has to mean something people can identify themselves in…

happy birthday to the sexiest 64 year old man there is at the moment!

that's daniel-day lewis, if you couldn't tell (and yes i did just call a grandpa sexy, that's how i am. you should be used to it by now). such an outstanding actor.

    Valley Girl

nothing too extraordinary but, it is cute and enjoyable. the soundtrack’s super vibey, as most romcoms from the 80s and nic cage’s great!

very funny how they tried having him dress up as a punk but it wasn’t done correctly so he just looked out of place with all the others. but when he was with more ‘basic’ people, he also looked like an outsider. meaning that wherever he was, he just didn’t fit at all.
