I've seen this film so many times growing up, and practically know it inside and out. Now, rewatching it for the first time in years with two of my partners, my love and enjoyment of this film is stronger than ever.

The writing, the animation, the humour, the characters: everything works, and it all clocks in at under an hour and 20 minutes. All throughout, I remembered ever line, joke and visual gag, and it all still hit perfectly.

I love this film, pure and simple.

The first Bond film on my watch-through of the franchise that I really wasn't a fan of. Too long, too dull, and way too many moments of Bond being a sexist asshat.

There's no mockery in this film's blood, and, while there is…

A wonderful film that's truly a testament to the power of animation to be able to present and tell stories that no other medium can. Although I'm curious: what's the fascination of stop-motion animation studios with the undead? CORPSE BRIDE, PARANORMAN and now this. It's definitely an amusing trend.

Plus, it's always nice to see great trans rep in film. Live your best life, Raul. We'll support you all the way.

I really wish I could give this film a…
