There is not that much to say about this movie. It isn't good. From its uncreative retreads, lack of character development, snobby main kid, inconsistent tone, unrealistic story, tedious dialogue, and shitty visuals, it fails to capture the attention of kids or adults alike. It has some decent acting, changes the original premise slightly, and is funny to endure at points, but only because the jokes are cringe-worthy. Unless you're willing to watch a dull mess for those few ironically funny quips, Home Sweet Home Alone is not worth viewing during your holiday movie marathon.
