I don’t think there’s anything necessarily wrong with this…for the right crowd. Joke’s on me, I thought this was some gritty serial killer thriller (cuz of that poster) so imagine my surprise when I got…this.
It’s a decent story I guess, kind of bland and simple, but charming. I know it’s based off a book and as someone who reads, I still have no wish to read it, lol.
Not something I can recommend. I liked the lead and the marsh imagery but that’s as far as my interests lie in this thing.
Also, if they were gonna go this route with the story they should have taken out the attempted rape and a few other scenes and just made this a family film.
